Side Quest is bright, playful indie-pop — jangly guitars, bouncy bass, hand-claps and group shouts, and big sing-along choruses, with quick, clearly-articulated rhythmic verses that snap back to a wide melodic hook. Warm and fun rather than hyper, with a little nerdy charm.

They started as everyone's “side quest” from real jobs and it politely took over their lives. It's the band for the day that doesn't go to plan and turns out fine anyway — the detour, the peach eaten outside, the song you sing at a red light. Optimism with a sense of humor.
